Frequently asked questions

The number of custom napkins you'll need depends on the number of guests and the type of food and drinks being served.

  • For casual or semi-formal events with light refreshments, order 2–3 napkins per person.
  • If you're also serving a meal or buffet, add an additional 1–2 napkins per guest.
  • For formal events, like weddings or fundraisers, start with 3–4 napkins per person and add more depending on what's being served. If you're including a dessert table, add 1–2 extra napkins per person. If dinner is included and you're not using cloth dinner napkins, add 1–2 paper napkins per guest.

The main difference between tissue paper and airlaid paper is the production process and the resulting characteristics.

Tissue paper is made from 3 layers of tissue paper pressed together, creating a dotted pattern along the edges. It is the most common type of napkin and we offer both full-surface and one-quarter printing on it.

Airlaid paper is softer, stronger and more textile-like, with superior water absorption. Airlaid paper is compressed using air, which is considered more environmentally friendly than the water used in tissue paper production. We offer one-quarter printing on this type of paper.

Both tissue paper and airlaid paper are cellulose-based, food-safe and suitable for contact with all types of food.

Yes, you can print photos, text, graphics and more, in full colour on both our tissue and airlaid napkins.
